Teddy Helton
It would be very difficult indeed to find a nicer guy than Teddy Helton.

Teddy is well-known around the region for his work with The Pickin' Porch, his performances with the wonderful Celtic group Fire In The Kitchen and the superb Bluegrass band Fast Train - and for being the good-natured target of Robby Spencer's jokes!

In addition to his steady diet of fine pickin' and singin', Teddy also works tirelessly behind-the-scenes at The Pickin' Porch booking the performers, setting up the equipment, and doing most anything that needs to be done in order to make sure every show is a delight for the audience.

On a personal level, you simply cannot say enough about this wonderful man. Kind and generous to a fault, Teddy spends every day of his life trying to make the lives of others a little better and bring a little more joy into the world.

Although he is much too modest and humble to admit it, Teddy is the glue that holds The Pickin' Porch Show together and the engine that keeps the wheels rolling. But even with everything he does for the world of music in our region, he always seems to have plenty of time to be a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. An accomplished musician and a good person through and through, Teddy Helton is truly one-of-a-kind.
