Tim White reminded the crowd of the Song of the Mountains www.songofthemountains.org  show coming up on August 1st. and the Carter Family Memorial Music Center Festival www.carterfamilyfold.org happening July 31- August 1 2009.

The Mountain Rhythm Cloggers danced for the audience. Dancers include Tom Jarrell from Bluff City, Tennessee, J.D. Vance of Bristol, Tennessee, Rick Buchanan from Bristol, Virginia, Pam Buchanan from Bristol, Virginia, Tammy Potter of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, Mandy Barker from Bristol, Virginia, Mary Johnson from Bristol, Tennessee and Juli "Blue" Lewis from Hampton, Tennessee.

Nina Ketron stopped by to tell everyone about the "Pickin' in the Park" at Natural Tunnel www.naturaltunnel.info/ .

Adam McPeak & Mountain Thunder www.adammcpeak.com  entertained the crowd. Band members include Adam McPeak from Wytheville, Virginia played mandolin, Mike McPeak from Wytheville, Virginia played guitar, Dewey Long of Rural Retreat, Virginia played fiddle, Stephanie Gibson of Galax, Virginia on banjo and David Chrisley of Wytheville, Virginia on bass.
