Pickin' Porch June 4, 2009 Chris Hunter filled in for Tim White again this week.  The Wright Family Band (www.wrightfamilyband.org)
entertained the crowd during the first half of tonight's show. Members
are Ted (father) on dobro, Kim (mother) on bass, Nikki, age 19 playing
fiddle, Courtney, age 18 playing banjo, Daniel, age 16 on guitar,
Naomi, age 14 on mandolin and Caleb, age 12 playing fiddle. Mandi (age
8) and Jed (age 19 months) also treated the crowd to a dance to "Clinch
Mountain Backstep".
 Valley Grass pleased the audience with lots of great gospel tunes.
Members include Raymond Campbell playing guitar, Bill Charles on
jawharp, Mike Crawford on banjo, Sherry Jones playing mandolin, Heather
Gillespie on bass and Melinda Davis on vocals.
