Local band Duty Free was our entertainment for the evening.
Band members of Duty Free include Tim Laughlin of Bristol, Tennessee playing fiddle. Look for Tim with the Dale Ann Bradley Band www.daleann.com.
Charlie Powers from Piney Flats, Tennessee played guitar and was featured on tunes like "Waiting for you" and "Boots of Spanish Leather".
Rick Powers of Bristol, Tennessee played banjo and was showcased during the "Cherokee Shuffle".
Bobby Love of Bristol, Virginia played mandolin and penned several songs performed during tonight's program including "Here in Carolina".
Hal Boyd of Bristol, Tennessee played bass for the group. Most days you can find Hal at Boyd's Bicycle Shop on 7Th Street in downtown Bristol, Tennessee.
Tom Luker, better known as WGOC's eye in the sky helicopter reporter joined Duty Free on the tune Sally Goodin'.
Jason Leek accompanied the band on an old Bill Monroe tune "Good-bye Old Pal". Jason plays bass with the group Barry Scott and Second Wind www.barryscottonline.com.
